Renovation of the Quay Bed and Breakfast began in December 2015, when we purchased what was effectively an empty shell. Over recent years the Grade II listed building has been a pub and a variety of restaurants.

We stripped out all the fittings and redesigned the room layout to create the open and comfortable public space on the ground floor, with guest kitchen, and also Wells-next-the-Sea’s one and only fully equipped disabled and dementia-access B&B bedroom. Upstairs we have created eight beautifully yet simply designed bedrooms perfect for summer holiday visitors, winter walkers, bird watchers and short stay guests (passing cyclists for example are very welcome: check out our bike shed for spares and tools).

We can arrange anything from flowers and champagne to a beach hut, via early breakfasts, late check-ins, tickets to the local theatre and all the other useful services you can expect from a six concierge.

All room rates include our continental breakfast.
